Find the right size - Guide to measuring your feet

Measuring your feet correctly is essential to finding shoes that fit well and feel comfortable. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to measure your feet and the inside measurement of a shoe:

Measuring your feet

  1. Preparations

    • Use a piece of plain paper that is larger than your foot, a pen or pencil, and a tape measure or ruler.

    • Place the paper on a hard floor against a wall.

  2. Place the foot

    • Stand up and place your foot on the paper with the heel against the wall.
  3. Mark the length

    • Bend forward and mark the spot on the paper where your longest toe ends. Make sure the pen is held vertically for more accurate results.
    • Repeat the process for your other foot, as the size may vary.
  4. Measure the length

    • Use the tape measure or ruler to measure the distance from the edge of the paper (at the wall) to the mark you made. This gives you the length of the foot. Measure in millimeters for greater precision.
  5. Measure the width

    • To measure the width, mark the widest points of your foot on the paper and measure the distance between those points.
  6. Write down the measurements

    • Record these measurements and compare them to size guides that are usually available online or in shoe stores.
