Maximum cushioning, minimal weight

Topo Phantom 4 is designed for those who need a running shoe with maximum cushioning – without compromising weight or responsiveness. The upgraded ZipFoam™ midsole is now both lighter and more responsive than previous generations, providing a soft, energized feel in the stride. The total stack height is 33 mm in the heel and 28 mm in the forefoot (5 mm drop), offering good protection for the feet without losing ground contact.

Phantom 4 is perfect for those who run longer distances on road, treadmill, or harder gravel surfaces and want a shoe that provides support all the way.

New upper with better fit

The upper’s mesh material has also received a thorough update. The new technical jacquard mesh is both breathable and flexible, improving both comfort and durability. The wide toe box – Topo’s signature – remains of course and allows natural toe splay even when feet swell during longer runs.

The heel counter has extra padding for a safer and softer feel, and the tongue is now more ergonomically designed and fits better in place.

Stable yet flexible

Phantom 4 is also stable thanks to its wide platform, yet flexible enough not to feel bulky. The light weight (only about 278 grams in men’s US size 9) combined with the ZipFoam sole and a rocker-like shape in the forefoot makes the shoe roll naturally through the stride – perfect when you want to find a flow in your running.
